Hee Cher Sun

Before establishing the Firm, Cher Sun practised with Malaysia’s largest law firm, where she was part of the Corporate & Commercial and Foreign Investment practice group. Her extensive experience includes advising domestic and international clients on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on foreign investments and the acquisition of Malaysian businesses.

Cher Sun also has significant expertise in technology-related legal matters. She regularly advises on telecommunications, e-commerce and electronic money matters, including access agreements, strategic alliances and network arrangements.

Over nearly three decades of legal practice, she has been involved in numerous high-profile transactions, including:

• The privatisation of non-core facilities at KLIA Terminal 2;
• The merger of two property developers listed on the Main Board (now Main Market) of Bursa Malaysia; and
• The acquisition of Malaysian businesses by several Fortune 500 companies.
